SABATON Confirmed For UK's BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR Festival
September 10, 2008Swedish metallers SABATON have been confirmed for next year's edition of the Bloodstock Open Air festival, set to take place August 14-16, 2009 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England. More bands will be announced soon.
Tickets for next year's event went on sale on September 1 at this year's price of £85. As of December 15, the ticket prices will be increasing.
"Cliffs of Gallipoli", the new single from SABATON, recently topped the national chart in the band's home country. The song comes off the group's new album, "The Art of War", which entered the Swedish chart at No. 5.
The follow-up to 2006's "Attero Dominatus", "The Art of War" was recorded at Abyss Studios with producer Peter Tägtgren and was made available in three formats: normal CD, gatefold LP and a limited-editon CD that comes in a DVD package that also will include the exclusive book "The Art of War".
